Oneida is about simplicity: taking the basics of business and executing them well. Anticipating the construction needs of our community, delivering a quality product, and focusing on customer satisfaction.
Over the decades, Oneida Sales and Service has taken on many different business activities and services. Oneida President and Owner, Fred Saia, started the business in 1974. Oneida began as an HVAC and garage door installation contractor for Sears and Roebuck. The business later evolved into residential fence installation, redi-mix concrete supply, and trucking services provider. Oneida is currently a minority business leader in Western New York’s growing construction industry focusing on services in environmental abatement and select demolition.
In the mid-1990s, Oneida seized the opportunity to become a certified minority-owned business enterprise (MBE) and disadvantaged business enterprise (DBE). Oneida is now certified as an MBE and DBE with various government agencies across multiple work classification codes.
Oneida currently works mainly on operations in the Western New York region, but is willing to work anywhere in the Northeast US. Oneida has experience working in New York City and surrounding areas.
Oneida earned its place and maintains its reputation by holding itself to a high standard of accountability, honesty, and continual improvement. Growing and responding to the community by never settling and always striving to be better tomorrow than they are today. This is a company that is open to change and doing things in new ways. Oneida looks for and values creative solutions to industry and community problems to help them stand out.
